About Dr. Park
Dr. Paul Park is an accomplished, board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Weill Cornell Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He treats patients with a wide array of spinal disorders in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He treats common degenerative conditions such as disc herniaton, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, trauma, spinal cord injury, infection, metastatic spine disease, and arthritis. He additionally has specialized training in spinal deformity (both adult and adolescent), complex cervical surgery (including motion preservation), as well as revision spinal surgery in patients who have had multiple prior procedures. Dr. Park believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to spinal care - working with world-class colleagues in various fields to help patients find the right treatment for each individual patient – whether or not surgery is involved.
Dr. Park completed his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Dartmouth College. He went on to complete a Masters degree in Immunology at Yonsei University College of Medicine. He then completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH training at University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Columbia University in New York City, and stayed to complete a combined orthopedic surgery/neurosurgery fellowship in spine surgery with leaders in the field.
